Karen elzinga is a professionally trained artist completing a double degree in Fine Art and Visual Culture.
She predominately paints seascapes including under ocean representations. An abstract painting Karen enjoys interpreting the business of sea life and the vibe of holiday makers in the throws of a hot summers day. She enjoys a vibrant, colourful, joyful feel within her paintings that are completed using only professional grade canvas and paint.

The painting is painted and then etched back for a more rustic appearance before a complete layer of spheres are added across the top, the spheres add a sight textured look and feel to the painting especially under good lighting.
